My name is Hal Hefner. I am a Solarpunk interested in creating a better future for the world. A future free of greed, hatred, racism, bigotry and oppression.

I'm a Los Angeles based artist, strategist and creative director as well as a teacher, lecturer, father and activist.

I am most known for my CONSUME art series, Gates, Heavy Metal Magazine's first Webcomic and my newest and most important project to date, The Serpent Seed.

With the Serpent Seed and this page, I am exploring all things Solarpunk, including art, technology, sustainability, regenerative technology, community and anything and everything that will lead us to a brighter future on planet Earth.
